As part of a campaign to promote voting reform a Gravy Train visited Watford this week. The Gravy Train campaign is highlighting the need for voting reform is organised by the organisation 'Vote for Change'. They are campaigning to get fairer, more accountable voting to replace the current first past the post system.
Sal Brinton, on a fleeting trip back to Watford from her party conference in Bournemouth, joined the train as it travelled from Bushey to Watford Junction, stopping at the billboard advertisement place on the rail line.
Sal said: 'I have always supported electoral reform. We need to make all MPs more accountable and make every vote count. I have already pledged that I would not have a London home and that I would publish my expenses online every month. I was very pleased to be able to come back to support this campaign.'
The Gravy Train chose to visit Watford because its Labour MP has been against a referendum on voting reform.
