A report published last week following an inspection of ambulances in the East of England has lead to questions over the cleanliness. The report gave seven areas from improvement, mainly around cleanliness. It also noted that the majority of areas where no concerns were raised were in terms of having policies in place.
Sal Brinton, prospective Liberal Democrat MP for Watford said: 'We have been here before with Watford General Hospital, they have really worked hard to ensure that following their bad report on cleanliness to understand how to achieve high standards of cleanliness. I really hope that the East of England Ambulance service to learn from our hospital and use the knowledge they gained to make fast improvements.'
