TA cuts climb down

Sal Brinton, Prospective MP for Watford was relieved at yesterday's announcement on the U-Turn about the cuts in the Territorial Army's training budget. Sal said in light of this announcement: 'The government must stop
using services like the TA as a political football, they are far too important. The Labour Government have been caught out in their poor judgement in making decisions which are impractical and damaging.'
She added: 'Once again Gordon Brown has shown that he cannot make a decision because he is far too scared of what might look like a difficult debate and possible defeat in the House of Commons.'
